Jefferson Davis: Showing His Feminine Side?

By: Nick Grabill

During the Civil War, some people may ask, Does Jefferson Davis even fight with the South, or does he just sit back and relax while the Southern Army gets destroyed by the North? Well, the truth is, Jefferson Davis hasn't fought in a battle since the Mexican War. He was a Colonel in the Mexican War and ever since he was elected to be president of the Confederate States, he hasn't even moved a muscle. It's like Davis is just going to kick back and watch General Lee do his job. It looks like the Confederacy is in for a long war if Davis keeps doing what he is doing. Davis says that watching the war happen is part of his plan because the South has more of a defensive approach, but if he doesn't do something soon to drive the war back into the North, the Confederates might not have a chance. Soon after the war was over, Jefferson Davis was rumored to have been seen in women's clothes. Probably because he was too much of a wussy to show his face. What ever happens is purely Davis' fault and you can see by sitting back and watching the war because he doesn't want to get a little dirty, he is surely showing his feminine side.
